Boltight Submarine Bolt Tensioning Equipment

Boltight also manufactures hydraulic bolt tensioning equipment to be used in submarine applications according to standard and customer sizes. These equipments are at 1500 bar working pressure and they are equipped with self-sealing couplings that do not leak oil. Standard underwater stud tensioners are fully compatible with ANSI, API 6A / 17D and SPO flange surfaces, which are widely used in oil and gas pipelines.

The stud retainer parts of the underwater stud tensioners are offered in two different models, two-piece or one-piece. The two-piece model provides ease of use in narrow areas. Since there is no screw turning process, the process time is shortened. The two-piece model is also preferred for narrow areas.
